SPRING BOOK SALE HUGE SUCCESS
April 9 and 10
Our thanks to all the volunteers who helped us to conduct the most successful book sale in the history of the Friends of the Tigard Library. In fact, this was the largest single fund raiser we have ever had, and it was your volunteer participation that made it possible.
Preliminary figures show that we sold about four and a half TONS of books in the 14 hour sale. This translated into sales of more than $8,000. This is 30 percent greater than the largest previous sale.
And now we are looking forward to our October sale with the hope that we can do even better.
